Each varietal kit comes in four different sizes -- 1/4 lb., 1/2 lb., 3/4 lb., 1 lb. The weight size indicates the amount of each flavor you'll receive in that kit (i.e. in the 1/4 lb. Chardonnay kit you'll receive 1/4 lb. of pineapple, 1/4 lb. of green apple, etc.). There are about 100 beans per 1/4 lb, and experience indicates that people will go through the "bar" at least three times (and, of course, there'll be those who pull up a chair and scarf like it's the all-you-can-eat salad bar at Sizzler), so a 1/4 lb kit is good for a party size of about 25 or less.
